Back in it’s fourth installment, one of the most well attended fashion events did not disappoint.

FFC Flyer

Taking a new direction, the decor genius Gregory Wilkinson and Fashion For A Cause Creator Kendrick Kemp transformed Ibiza (West Bay Street) into something amazing with a seeming nod to Miami fashion week.

From the stylish guests with local celebrities and socialites also in attendance, the cocktail hour itself was that of a fashion show. The breeze of the open air only added to the ambiance as guests got ready for a styled fashion show like no other.

FFC Projects

Coming onboard this year as resident stylist, Alicia Seymour (Dallhaus Collection) alongside renowned David Rolle (David Rolle Designs & Harl Taylor Bags) delivered knock out styled pieces that certainly fit the billing as SPRING/SUMMER STREETWEAR. These ready to wear pieces were featured from local and international clothing providers and designers.

Designers included:

Harl Taylor

The Monarchy Collection (Debut Design by Kejuana Beneby)

The Sports Center (Street Wear Collection)

Park N Ronen  (Spring Collection)

William Moultrie

William Moultrie took the lead as head of Makeup & Hair this year, replacing Erin Brown with Shantwon Martin spearheading the Volunteers for this year’s show.

Noted fashion and lifestyle photographer, Barry Williams alongside socialite Mitzi Thompson took over as Casting and Model Directors with The Bahamas Weekly, Sagini Inc, The Tribune, Jay Isaacs Photography and Play It Forward Mag serving as media partners for the event.

Mr. Kemp released a statement individually and generally thanking everyone for their unwavering support and continued encouragement as the event continues to grow and change.

The event printed and distributed it’s inaugural magazine issue this spring. The magazine will be on display at partnering stores for a limited time for those who may want to view.

Guests were also spotted wearing fashion pieces from local designer David Rolle, with Mr. Kemp stating that “it speaks to the evolution of the Bahamian fashion culture.”
