iCreate Music All Access Seminar: The man behind the mic

Quiet passion is the only way to describe iCreate Music All Access Seminar‘s founder Gregory Collie II.

Native Bahamian son has fallen in love with music and making music of his own since the early 2000’s. His love for music and his travel experiences has led him to bring those experiences home. Having attended and participated in numerous showcases and workshops, he’s networked and dealt with some of the industries best.

Seeing the need for something similar at home the idea for iCreate All Access Music Seminar was born.

Now this Bahamian producer is stepping out of his comfort zone to bring an amazing opportunity home for fellow music industry  driven locals.

Founded and launched in 2011, iCreate Music All Access Seminar is something never before seen in The Bahamas. It will bring together music industry heavy hitters from all corners of the industry for a 2 day event at the Atlantis Resort.

This is now the second iCreate Music All Access Seminar to be presented. This time the panel has expanded and so has the venue and time frame.

We asked the questions that we felt potential attendees would pose and got the answer straight from the man himself.

Peep the questions and answers and feel free to hit him up to register (link on our homepage as well) or to ask any questions.

Quick side note: don’t submit music if you haven’t registered-let’s not be cornballs

PLAY IT FORWARD: Why did you start iCreate?

iCreate Music: I started The iCreate Music All Access Seminar because I recognized the lack of opportunities available to music producers, songwriters, artists and other professionals looking to get into the music industry to network with and learn from industry professionals here in The Bahamas. I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during my travels across the US attending various music conferences and seminars and decided that launching The iCreate Music All Access Seminar in 2011 would be the perfect platform to fill that void and afford the talented musicians in this country the opportunities they deserve.

PLAY IT FORWARD: Who needs to be at this seminar?

iCreate Music: Anyone that’s looking to have a career in the music industry whether that be on the creative side, i.e. Artist, Producer, Songwriter, Engineer, or the business side, i.e. Manager, A&R, Attorney or Executive.

PLAY IT FORWARD: What can attendees expect to take part in at the event?

iCreate Music: Attendees can expect to be educated on various aspects of the music business and have their questions answered by the panelists at the end of each panel.
